Diamond America Welcomes New Manufacturers Rep

Akron, OH – Diamond America, a leader in custom extrusion, equipment design, and manufacture, has appointed Products For Progress, Inc. (PFP) of Shawnee, Kansas as their new manufacturer’s representative for the Midwest territory of Kansas, Nebraska, Missouri, Iowa, and Oklahoma.

PFP has been in business for over 35 years and is led by its founder Jim Welker. Jim has a BS degree in Ag Engineering from Kansas State University and brings a wealth of experience in the grain, feed, food, pet food, chemical and plastics industries. Ryan Welker and Maci Welker, his wife, joined the company in 2016 and opened a sales office in Newton, KS. Ryan has a Milling Science and Business degree from Kansas State University and brings extensive experience in the flour industry.

“We are excited to have Jim and his team on board representing our extruders, dies and cutters,” said Mike Magee, President of Diamond America. “Their background in agriculture, pet food, chemical and the plastics market creates value in an underserved region,” he added.

Through material testing and application expertise, PFP has become known for helping customers select efficient and quality equipment for their materials.
