Brickstreet Jazz & Wine Festival
Akron Tool & Die is proud to support local initiatives within our community. BrickStreet Jazzfest was held on July 22 at St. Sebastian School. 100% of the profits from this event went to supporting the Academy of Cultural Arts at St. Sebastian, one of the incredible programs brought to the West Akron Community through St. Sebastian Schools.
As Pastor Father John Valencheck states; “The academy offers courses in visual arts, musical arts, physical arts and other cultural subjects, and is for persons of all ages interested in learning about, experiencing, and/or influencing arts and culture in our society. More than just a school enrichment program, the academy is designed to help young people as well as adults climb to the next level of cultural engagement so as not to merely be spectators or instruments of culture, but to be the instruments of influence; to use arts and culture to lift the human spirit, build up human dignity, give glory to God, and use truth and beauty to bring about the Good in the shaping of our world.”
