Mark brings more than 30 years of experience in plastic extrusion and die design to Diamond America. Formerly an owner of his own extrusion company, Mark has broad experience in all aspects of profile extrusion, from die design, to Wire EDM, and machining, to downstream tooling design. He is proficient in various design software including AutoCad, Cadkey, Solidworks, Esprit, Mastercam and ProE.

Mark will be assisted by Joe Yates, an engineer who joined Diamond America in 2006. Joe has played a role in almost every aspect of the machine shop including manual machining, bench and polish work, wire EDM operation, maintenance, assembly and more.
Diamond America also announced that Timothy Byrne will lead its sales division. Timothy, who has worked in the plastics industry both in manufacturing and sales, holds the same position for Diamond America’s sister company, Akron Tool & Die.
“With the additions of Mark and Timothy, Diamond America is positioned to continue to expand into specialized extrusion industries such as catalyst, mastics, and adhesives where customers demand customized approaches to their production processes,” stated Mike Magee, President of Diamond America.
